Where I’m at, it goes something like this:

Seine the smelt

net the suckers

gather the greens

peel the bark

pick the fruits

knock the rice

find the fungi

dig the roots

get the nuts

wing the waterfowl

hunt the deer

trap the furs

snare the hares

eat the beaver

boil the sap

stir the sugar

seine the smelt
